Paignton Zoo

Paignton Zoo is a long established zoo and Botanical Garden in Paignton, Torbay that deservedly attracts a large number of visitors. It is part of the South West Environmental Parks ltd who also run Newquay zoo in Cornwall and Living Coasts in Torquay.

Paignton Zoo has a large selection of animals and there is hundreds of different species to see. As with most established zoos in the UK, Paignton is not only for entertainment, they also play an important role in animal conservation, including breeding rare species and educating visitors.
