Seaton Tramway

The Seaton Tramway combines a useful transport facility with a visitor attraction and is a privately run narrow gauge tramway that runs around the seaside town of Seaton, the small village of Colyford and Colyton in the Axe valley of East Devon.

It operates over the route of a former British Railways branch line and was converted around 1970 by Claude Lane, who had previously operated trams in Eastbourne.
As a narrow guage tramway, the carriages are on a smaller scale and are replicas of classic trams form other UK cities, one of which is an original from Exeter.
