Dartmoor is less than four miles away with its stunning landscape granite tors heather moorland and of course the famous Dartmoor ponies; it is even possible to take a guided audio tour. Around six miles from the property is the small Georgian town of Hatherleigh whilst a larger range of shops can be in Okehampton just a slightly longer drive away. The Cornish coast is within easy reach the family-friendly seaside town of Bude being within a forty-minute drive and Tintagel home to the legendary King Arthur is under an hour s drive away and well worth the trip.
