Set in an impressive early Victorian villa Ascot House Hotel was acquired in 2007 by Bernard Lien-Lambert a French expatriate.Ascot House Hotel has now been fully refurbished into a small 'boutique' hotel with 3 suites and 5 bedrooms. It has free off-road parking and is most conveniently situated within a short walking distance of Torquay's Casino Town Hall Town Centre and shops sea front marina and the Riviera Conference Centre. Reflecting Bernard's Anglo-French cultural background our rooms are furnished in either a French period style or with traditional Victorian furniture. They have en-suite facilities or private bathrooms (due to the configuration of this sympathetically restored Victorian building one of our rooms has an adjacent rather than en-suite exclusive use bathroom). They benefit from many individual touches and come with unlimited use hospitality trays fridges with fresh milk hair-dryers wall-mounted LCD TVs and free WiFi. Children are most welcome at Ascot House (at no extra cost) and a cot child's bed and high chair are available on request. The Anglo-French theme has also been extended to our extensive breakfast menu which includes individually-prepared fresh fruit plates continental baked goods and French preserves (Bonne Maman and St Dalfour) - in addition to our cooked-to-order traditional English breakfast using quality local produce - all served in our sunny spacious dining room!
