Woolacombe is a small town (winter population around 1,000) in North Devon that is a popular seaside resort. The beach is the key reason why it is a popular destination. It is a three miles long sandy beach that has won a number of awards for its qulaity and cleanliness. It is a good bathing beach, but is also popular with surfers.

Although the town is small, it is geared up to accommodate people with a number of guest houses, hotels and holiday parks in the area. There are also other facilities such as crazy golf to keep all of the family amused.
