Coleton Fishacre is a notable house and garden in the Arts and Crafts style, situated in Kingswear. It was built for Rupert D'Oyly Carte and his wife, Lady Dorothy Carte, in the mid 1920s. It was designed by Oswald Milne, who had previously assisted the renowned architect Edwin Lutyens who was responsible for Castle Drogo amongst others. The garden runs down a narrow combe from the house to the sea at Pudcombe Cove. The interiors are Art Deco in style. It is now managed by the National Trust.
