The Jurassic Coast is easily accessible by car and the excellent beaches of Charmouth Lyme Regis Sidmouth Seaton and Beer are all within 20 miles. From the moment you step through the stone porch and ancient oak door you will be struck by the character of the house which was originally a medieval hall house and is part of the Yarcombe Estate which was inherited from Sir Francis Drake. The entrance to the house is from a formal courtyard with fine views over the estate. The impressive entrance panelled hall has flagstone flooring a huge medieval ornamental fireplace beams and window seat. Located in East Devon not far from Honiton and easy access from London you are perfectly placed to explore all that Devon Dorset and Somerset has to offer. Set within the heart of Devon farmland there are many beautiful walks from the property. Lyme Regis and Branscombe beaches Exeter is easily accessible by car. Honiton is a short drive with its abundance of antique shops cafes pubs and restaurants. Why not visit the historic Dumpton Fort closer to home there are several pubs serving food and all are within an easy drive. Stepping into this traditional cottage you are immediately struck by the contemporary interior with a large kitchen/diner exposed oak beams and a huge fireplace with wood burner. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The dining area with table and chairs make for a stylish social area. A couple of shallow steps lead you to a utility area with plenty of room for muddy boots and coats. The shower room with shower and WC is on this lower level. The lounge can be found the other side of the staircase via a few steps this has another huge fireplace with wood burner why not sit and relax on one of the comfortable sofas and watch your favourite program or movie on the TV. If listening to music is more your thing then connect to the bluetooth speaker which can be taken into any room. There are two staircases both very narrow and steep please take care. One leads to the master king-size with stylish en-suite bathroom with roll top bath and WC.
